Where is Gunpowder Lodge?
Right on Belair Road (US 1) in Kingsville, directly across from the Big Gunpowder Falls trailhead parking for Gunpowder Falls State Park.
Where can I eat after hiking in Gunpowder Falls State Park?
Gunpowder Lodge sits directly across Route 1 from the Big Gunpowder Falls trailhead in the park's Central Area. Crab cakes, cold beer, a full menu, and a free lot, no reservation needed.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free lot on site.
Do you do takeout or delivery?
Yes. Get delivery or pickup on Uber Eats or Postmates, or call (410) 256-2626 and we'll have it ready when you pull in.
Are dogs allowed?
No dogs, sorry. Service animals are always welcome.
Do you take reservations?
Most nights are first come, first served. For a big group or a special occasion, call (410) 256-2626 and we'll get you set up.
When is the Sunday brunch buffet?
Every Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm. Call (410) 256-2626 for this week's price.
Can you handle large groups or private parties?
Yes. The Lodge regularly hosts big groups and private events. Start an inquiry on the private events page or call (410) 256-2626.
Is there live music?
Yes, local bands play regularly, and open mic night runs every Monday from 6 to 9 pm. Check the events page for what's coming up.
Do you run specials?
Yes. A new specials board every week, crab cake day on Mondays, steak day on Tuesdays, shrimp, wings, beer, and burger specials on Wednesdays, rib day on Thursdays, and the Sunday brunch buffet. The current board is on our Facebook page.
Is Gunpowder Lodge kid-friendly?
Yes. Kids are welcome, and there's a dedicated kids menu.
